Claire Randall
Claire Randall works for the BBC in their Radio Drama department. Having
suffered from ‘persistent bouts of migraines’ over the past 10 years,
she was recommended to the Rêve Pavilion by one of our patients – her
father.
"Mark explained my migraines in terms of my being locked into a learned
pattern of behaviour over which I had no control when faced with
particular forms of stress. By locating the significant stress-causing
areas in my life and making me revise my attitude to confronting them,
he was able to de-programme me from slipping into behavioural patterns
that resulted in a migraine."
"I started seeing Mark in late February and by late March, I was no
longer having migraines, nor have had one since. I generally feel much
healthier as I feel more in tune with myself. I hardly ever feel ‘under
the weather’ as often as I did before, have stopped getting occasional
back and neck ache, have hardly suffered from hay fever this summer and
feel much better able to look after myself when confronted with the sort
of stress that used to cause migraines."
