Gloria Thomas
Photographic model, Presenter, TV commercial star, Video Jockey, Fitness
Instructor and ‘Bond Girl’ in the James Bond 007 movie – A View to A
Kill. Phew, what a star! But when it comes to health, super stars are
super normal and can need help just like anyone else.
Gloria says that her pregnancy was one of the happiest and most
contented periods of her life but seven months in, she suffered Placenta
Previa, lost a lot of blood and a Caesarean Section brought her son,
Jamie, prematurely into the world.
"Superficially, I appeared to be strong, healthy and recovered from the
ordeal. But underneath, I felt fragile, emotionally depressed and
anxious, which soon led me to lethargy and tiredness. I was referred to
a Harley Street GP with ‘Baby Blues’ who prescribed an anti-depressant
and advised me that I may be on it for a long time. He was right: I
could never seem to be able to wean myself off the tablets and suffered
regular bouts of tiredness and depression. After a number of years, I
felt that there had to be an alternative. Various Complementary
Practitioners certainly helped me become healthier and better educated
about nutrition, but nothing seemed to ever really work."
"After I found that Mark Mathews had worked miracles helping my son
Jamie with his learning difficulties, I asked him to help me. I was a
little cynical of his diagnosis at first (due to past failings with
other practitioners) and it took a long time before I felt a change. But
soon after my second appointment, I was amazed at how well I felt. My
body developed equilibrium, energy and vitality. After many years of
searching, my body chemistry is back to normal and I FEEL GREAT!"
